CHARLOTTE, N.C. (November, 11 2025) – Charlotte-based lifestyle brand 704 Shop has partnered with Lions Services, a local nonprofit that empowers individuals who are blind or visually impaired through employment, to launch (En)Vision – a new upcycling initiative that reimagines purpose, sustainability, and community impact.

The (En)Vision project transforms donated and thrifted apparel into one-of-a-kind, upcycled pieces handcrafted by the skilled employees of Lions Services, the largest employer of the visually impaired and blind. Each garment embodies a renewed approach to local fashion, one where creativity meets community impact. Proceeds from (En)Vision directly support Lions Services’ mission to provide meaningful employment, training, and independence for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. This initiative is made possible through the generous support of our partners Carolina Ascent, Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte Checkers, UNC Charlotte Athletics, Carolina Panthers, and Alley-Oop Culture Exchange – who have contributed apparel and materials to bring this vision to life.

We’re incredibly proud to partner with Lions Services on a project that embodies Charlotte’s spirit – creativity, compassion, and community,” said Andy Mitchelides, CEO of 704 Shop. “(En)Vision is more than just an upcycling initiative; it’s a movement toward inclusivity and purpose-driven design. When people support this project, they’re not only embracing sustainable fashion but also investing in opportunities that empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired to thrive and share their remarkable talents.”

“Partnerships like this help us expand awareness and opportunities for the people we serve,” said Philip Murph, President and CEO of Lions Services. “Every piece from (En)Vision tells a story — not just of renewal and sustainability, but of empowerment. We’re grateful to 704 Shop for using their platform to champion inclusion and purpose-driven design.”

The limited-edition (En)Vision Collection will debut Friday, November 14th, featuring 13 one-of-a-kind, upcycled pieces available exclusively at  https://704shop.com/collections/lions-services.

The collection will be sold through an online auction, open from November 14th through December 14th, giving supporters the opportunity to own a truly unique piece while directly contributing to meaningful employment for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
