CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Charlotte nonprofit is creating a new pathway for those who are visually impaired.

What You Need To Know

  • Lions Services is building a “Braille Trail” to connect its employees to public transit and nearby neighborhoods
  • The Braille Trail will be an accessible greenway and sidewalk that will eventually connect employees to a light rail train station and the NoDa neighborhood
  • The trail will also feature sculptures and artwork that highlight pioneers with disabilities
